Born in Livonia, Michigan Resided in Saginaw, Michigan Christopher Walter Ruth, age 50, of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018. He was born on November 8, 1967 in Livonia, Michigan. He graduated from Hemlock High School in 1985 and attended Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan, where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. Throughout his professional career he worked in several specialized industries for companies including Metzger Electric, Siemens, and others. In recent years, he had played an active role in his church community through volunteer and other service activities. Christopher was well loved and will be fondly remembered by his father and mother, Donald and Theresa Ruth of Hemlock, Michigan; his siblings Mark Ruth of Brant, Michigan; Margaret (Trellyon) Elliott of Sheridan, Wyoming; Stephanie (David) Fortner of Westminster, Colorado; Robert (Nicole) Ruth of Clearwater, Florida; Victoria (Michael) Mitchell of Ellisville, Missouri; Donald (Jennifer) Ruth of Ypsilanti, Michigan; and his nieces and nephews: Charlie, Theresa, Klea, Caleb, Jackson, Xavier, Wesley, and Dash. Funeral service will take place at 12:00 Noon, on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at W. L. Case and Company, 201 N. Miller Road. Fr. Dennis Kucharzyk will officiate with burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Hemlock. Friends may visit with the family at the chapel from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
