Royalty, Christopher J. Merrill, Michigan Our beloved father went home to the Lord on Friday, April 24, 2015, at the age of 50. Chris was born April 11, 1965, in Saginaw. He was a "jokester" and enjoyed making people laugh. He enjoyed spending time with family, going to the casino, gardening, and selling his produce and sauces by the roadside. He is survived by his children, Christopher and Christene Griffin; siblings, Mary (Brian) Lemmer, Jeffery Royalty, and Pat Royalty; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents Carlene (Alburg) Liscomb and Howard Liscomb and Walter Royalty; and his brother, Michael Royalty. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at St. John XXIII Parish, St. Patricks Church 4708 Meridian Road Merrill Michigan. Fr. Duane Wachowiak will officiate with burial to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at W.L. Case & Company 125 E. Saginaw St. in Merrill with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. and again at church on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
