Christopher D. Lade

Lade, Christopher D. Bridgeport, Michigan Passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the age of 53 years. The son of the late Carl and Lois (Hanes) Lade was born on July 26, 1961 in Saginaw. He married Carrie Lockhart; she survives him. He currently worked for Great Lakes Central Railroad as a mechanic. Chris enjoyed gardening and fixing things for family and friends. Surviving besides his wife Carrie, are his children: Amanda Lade, Courtney Lade, siblings: Carl (Karen) Lade, Cindy Lade, his faithful dogs Scooby, Scrappy, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, including his good friend Rick Escobedo. He was predeceased by a sister, Cheryl Jean Lade. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015 at the W. L. Case and Company, Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway. Rev. Bill Bodnar with burial to follow at Birch Run Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
