Cheryl Miller

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 at the age of 74 years.

Cheryl was born on August 30, 1948 to the late Harold and Lilas (Moss) Sage in Port Huron.  She graduated from Port Huron High School, the class of 1967.  She retired from Michigan Bell after over 26 years of service.   She volunteered her time often at animal shelters. She loved to work on puzzles, cheering on her Michigan Sports teams (Lions, Tigers, Pistons, and Wings), reading and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as pa-pa.

Surviving are her children: Leigh Anne Jewel, Melissa Neuwirth, William (Jennifer) Foster, Kristen (Brian) Foster, grandchildren: Aaron (Felicia) Foster, Coty Robinson, K’Leigh (Eric) Eckland, Jazzlyn (Jarrod) Brown, Kamryn Foster, Jordan Jewel, Andrew Neuwirth, Jayden Jewel, Eden Foster, Emillise Neuwirth, Paige Foster, Dominick Hollis, great-grandchildren: Blake Foster, Aylin Foster, Declan Foster, Kason Eckland, Londynn Eckland, Julianna Brown and one more on the way, her sisters Barbara Monteith, Gina Fenton, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  Besides her parents, Cheryl was predeceased by her siblings: Thomas Sage, Beverly Kosel, and her son-in-law James Neuwirth.

In accordance with Cheryl’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
