Cheryl Lynn Placher Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister passed away at home on July 18, 2017, at the age of 61. Cheryl Creighton was born August 23, 1955, in Newport, Rhode Island. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 42 years, Thomas Placher; her children, Thomas (Melissa) Placher Jr., Tanya (Matthew) LaCount, and John Placher; grandchildren, Lily, Tyler, and Ronald; her mother, Kathleen Jurik; 6 sisters and 2 brothers; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Robert Creighton. A gathering of her family and friends will take place at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2017, at American Legion Post 439 at 5190 Weiss.
