It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Cheryl Moncada, on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at the age of 59 years.

Born on June, 28, 1964, Cheryl was a beacon of light in the lives of those around her. She always had a kind word, a warm smile, and an open door for everyone she met. Her love and compassion knew no bounds, and she touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Cheryl was a dedicated mother who put her family above all else. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she always made sure they knew how much she loved them. She was a pillar of strength and support, and her presence will be sorely missed.

In addition to her role as a mother, Cheryl was a caring CNA who excelled in her field. Her work ethic and passion for her patients were an inspiration to all who worked with her.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Pete; sons, Petey (Erin) Moncada, Victor (Kiaris) Moncada, and Trey; along with 12 grandchildren; her sisters and brothers, Leona, Gus, Donald, Mary and Lynn; also many other family members and friends.  She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished friend to many. Cheryl leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Funeral service will be held in her honor at 3:00 p.m., on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Her son, Pedro Moncada will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit the family from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.  

Rest in peace, Cheryl. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.
