Cheryl Braley “The Tint Lady of Saginaw”

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Covenant HealthCare – Cooper, with her family at her side; at the age of 68 years.

The daughter of the late Ralph Edward and Ila Lucille (Rhode) Braley, Cheryl was born on January 24, 1955, in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Hemlock High School with the class of 1973. Cheryl was well known in the community as “The Tint Lady of Saginaw”, starting at Pro-Style Auto Centers, and working for various other shops, tinting windows. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Hemlock, Michigan. Cheryl enjoyed bowling, casino trips, outdoors, concerts, and music. She loved sports and was an avid sports fan of the Detroit Lions, Redwings, and Tigers. Cheryl also adored animals, especially her beloved cats: Tiffany and Maggie. Above all, Cheryl cherished the time spent with her family and loved ones; especially attending their various life events.

Surviving are her three daughters and their significant others: Jill (Vasold) Federspiel and Antonio Delgado, Julie Vasold and Christopher Juricak, Amanda and Michael Woods; grandchildren: Mya Delgado, Tony Delgado, Alecia Delgado, Ryan Thurston Jr., Kyle Thurston; two brothers: Wayne Braley Gary (Gail) Braley. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended members, and friends.

Honoring Cheryl’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2461 Raucholz Road, Hemlock, Michigan 48626. Rev. Dr. William L. Morris will officiate. Friends may visit the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
