Demers, Charlotte "Charlie" Midland, Michigan formerly of Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Hoyt Nursing Home & Rehab Center at the age of 79 years. Charlotte was born on July 25, 1933 in Saginaw to the late George and Elsie (Offenborn) Horn. She served in the U.S. Air Force. She was an avid BINGO player, scrabble player, and loved camping in northern Michigan. Surviving are one son and one daughter; Mitchell (Becky) Demers, Freeland, MI; Michele (Frank) Messner, Saginaw, MI; grandsons Frank (Erin) Messner, Kevin Messner, Eric Demers, DJ Demers, two brothers Ronald (Pauline) Horn, Eugene (Linda) Horn and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother George Horn and sister Marilyn Jones. Funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. James Neumann will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral chapel on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service.
