It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Charlotte Marie Heins, who left us on April 10, 2026, in Saginaw, Michigan, at the age of 76. Born on October 11, 1949, in Saginaw, Charlotte lived a life defined by warmth, devotion, and an unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Charlotte dedicated her life to caring for others. She spent many years as a bus aide for the Saginaw Intermediate School District, where she supported and nurtured special needs students with patience and compassion. Outside of work, her greatest joy came from time spent with her grandchildren, who were truly the center of her world. She loved getting lost in a good mystery or thriller novel, relaxing with games on her phone, and sharing her love through the meals she prepared for those she cared about. Though gentle and generous, Charlotte was also known for her strong will and determination—qualities that shaped her life and inspired those around her.
Her kindness, steady presence, and genuine ability to make others feel valued left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Friends and family alike remember her as a woman of deep compassion, quiet strength, and boundless love.
Charlotte’s memory will be forever cherished by her beloved husband, Thomas; her children, Troy Walker, Cindy Wittbrodt, and Steven (Kathy) Walker; her brothers, Paul (Bea) Fath and Larry Fath; her sister, Caroline Fath; her sister‑in‑law, Sharon (Robert) Hardt; her grandchildren, Leanna Walker, Stephan (Jenessa) Parish, Candice Parish, AJ Lich, and Nicole Lich; and her great‑grandchildren, Aubrianna Hachet, Naomi Parish, and Brielle Parish. She also leaves behind her lifelong best friends, Jackie and Betty, as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Frank (Bobbie) Fath, Don (Bonnie) Fath; sisters, Shirley Brock and Mary (Raymond) Ostrander; her sister‑in‑law Linda Fath, and her grandson Brandon Walker.
