Charles “Charlie” D. Stevens

Passed away on August 23, 2025, at HealthSource Saginaw at the age of 75 years. Charlie was born on September 01, 1949, in Saginaw, MI to the late Charles and Mary (Teplinski) Stevens. He graduated from Arthur Hill, class of 1967. Charlie continued his education at the University of Michigan, graduating in 1972 with a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He retired as the Vice President of Sales from Linear, a company in San Diego.

Charlie was an avid golfer. He took his golf clubs with him everywhere he traveled, playing on courses all around the world including the famous St. Andrews “Old Course” where he carded a round of 73. Charlie was a lifelong supporter of his alma mater Michigan, enjoying season tickets at the big house to watch and cheer on the Wolverines football team, he followed all the Michigan sports teams. During his time in San Diego, CA he also was a season ticket holder of the San Diego Padres MLB team. He also loved to travel, with Hawaii being his favorite destination. Charlie enjoyed going on casino trips, frequently to Las Vegas and Soaring Eagle. He also really enjoyed watching the stock market and taking care of his own investments.

Charlie had a very sharp mind, and as some of his colleagues would say, he was the face of Linear and that industry. He was known to take care of “his” guys and was a good person with a big heart, generous with time, quick smile and deeply caring towards his family.

Surviving are his brother, Richard Stevens, nephew Chadde (Carrie) Stevens, niece Raechel (Nathan) Zientek (Stevens), as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.

Honoring Charlie's wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the American Cancer Foundation.

Arrangements have been entrusted to W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors. Please share your condolences with the family at www.casefuneralhome.com
