Charles "Chuck" "Charlie" E. Smith of Saginaw, Michigan 

Beloved brother, uncle, and friend passed away unexpected on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at his home. He was 63 years old. Charles Eldon Smith was born on December 27, 1960, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Delmer E. and Betty Ann (Spitz) Smith. He was a proud 1978 graduate of Bridgeport High School. Chuck was employed with Dollar General as a stocker for many years. He was selfless and kindhearted, often putting others' needs ahead of his own. He will be missed by his family and dear friends. 

Surviving are a sister, Sandra (Trinidad) Uribe of Saginaw; five nieces: Terri Uribe, Tara Uribe, Amber Uribe, Sarah Uribe, and Celeste Uribe; and an uncle, Don (Jan) Spitz. Also surviving are many great-nieces and great-nephews, extended family, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Delmer and Betty Smith; and a brother, Delmer Smith Jr. 

Honoring Chuck’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Spaulding Township Park, 5825 Cole Road, Saginaw, Michigan, 48601. Arrangements have been entrusted to the W. L.
