Charles G. Rinz Brant, Michigan Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away March 10, 2016, at the age of 70 years. Charles was born December 1, 1945, in Marion Twp. Michigan to the late Verner and Virginia (Hintermeister) Rinz. He enjoyed spending time with his family, doing mechanic work, hunting, and cutting wood. He married Linda Carter on July 3, 1971; she survives him. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Tina (Allen) Foreman and Terra (Tony) Reyes; grandchildren, Michael and Michelle Foreman, Breonna and Vanessa Rinz, Brock and Lawson Rinz, Tony III, Sophia, Victor, Vincent, Antonio and Roman Reyes; siblings, Verner (Carole) Rinz, Paul (Darlene) Rinz, Mary Davis, Jay (Judy) Rinz, Evelyn (Larry) Graham; brothers-in-law, Richard Olenzek and James Bartlett; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Virginia Olenzek, Carol Bartlett, Jack Rinz, and John Rinz; parents-in-law, Harry and Virginia Carter; brothers-in-law, Raymond Carter and Danny Davis; and best friends, David Limron and Duane DuBois. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016, at W.L. Case & Company 125 E. Saginaw St. in Merrill. Rev. Tim Behnke will officiate with burial to follow in St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Marion Springs. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
