Charles Henry “Chuck” Crozier

Bay City, Michigan

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at his home, with his family at his side; at the age of 78 years.

The son of the late Edward William Crozier and Muriel Eleanor (Towne) Pritchett, Chuck was born on April 30, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from high school in Detroit, Michigan. He married the love of his life, Connie Sue Shappee, on June 29, 1984; she survives him. Chuck was a Tinsmith at General Motors, Delphi until he retired after many years of dedicated and loyal service. He was a member of UAW 699. Chuck loved going to the casino. He was an avid fan of Detroit Tigers. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family and loved ones.

Surviving besides his wife of 38 years: Connie Sue Crozier; are their four daughters, three sons and their spouses: Cheryl and Art Zipay, Kim Crozier, Shannon and James Saffold, James and Jaime Chinnery, Brian Stone, Chad and Mary Anne Stone, Christianna and David Boensch; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother: Frank (Wanda) Crozier; sister: Jane (Ken) Buckley, brother-in-law: Gary McRath; sister-in-law: Dawn Johnson. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Chuck was preceded in death by his mother: Muriel E. Pritchett; sisters and brothers: Jeanine Canfield, Edward Crozier, Eugene Crozier, Anthony Yokes, Diane McRath; and sister-in-law: Bonnie Shappee.

Funeral Service will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48603. Rev. Robert Richards will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral chapel.
