Chad Steven Noffke

Chad S. Noffke of Merrill, Michigan

Beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, April 7, 2024. He was 41 years old. Chad Steven Noffke was born on July 7, 1982, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to his parents, Jean (Schreiber) and Art Conrad and Steven R. Noffke. He was a proud 2003 graduate of Middleville High School. Following graduation, Chad began working at Commercial Tool & Die in Comstock Park, where he learned and gained the knowledge to become a tool and die maker. He later began working at Merrill Tool & Die. The role of his lifetime, one he treasured and cherished above all others, was to be a loving and devoted father. His children were the love of his life. An avid outdoorsman, Chad’s little piece of heaven was riding his side by side, tinkering in his garage, and just simply being outside. He was selfless man, often putting the needs of others ahead of his own. He loved his family and friends and demonstrated this by helping anyone in need. Chad had an excellent sense of humor, loved joking around, and had an innate ability to make other people laugh. He was truly a priceless and profound spirit and will be missed by all. Chad will forever be remembered for the love he had for his children and family, for turning laughter into light, and for truly living life to the absolute fullest.

Surviving are three children: Brooklyn Noffke of Cedar Springs; Laina Noffke of Merrill; Landen Noffke of Merrill; mother of his children, Megan Noffke of Cedar Springs; parents: Jean (Art) Conrad of Merrill and Steve Noffke of Middleville; two brothers: D.J. Schaub of Irons; Mark (Rebecca) Noffke of Kingsley; three nieces and one nephew: Alyse and Carly Schaub; Brady and Brynn Noffke; a special cousin, Kai Lum of Greenville. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, extended family, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his cousin, Katie Lum Lax and his grandparents.

Honoring the families wishes, cremation has taken place. Chad was a Gift of Life donor selflessly helping others following his death.
