Chad Neil Clark of Zilwaukee, Michigan

Beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend passed away peacefully at home with his family on Saturday, October 11, 2025. He was 36 years old. Chad was born on February 20, 1989, in Saginaw, Michigan to Scott Allen and Charee Michelle (DeShone) Clark. As a young boy, he served for three years as a boy scout, learning the fundamentals of service unto others, character leadership, discipline, and an appreciation for the outdoors. Chad was a proud 2007 graduate of Bay City Western High School. Following graduation, Chad attended Delta College where he studied welding and engineering. He was employed with the family business, A&B Equipment & Sons Inc., as a Parts Specialist. Chad attended Kochville United Methodist Church and later Ames United Methodist Church. He was a gun enthusiast and true patriot. He enjoyed spending time woodworking, welding, hunting, and listening to his music. Chad selflessly volunteered his time and talent on countless home improvements projects, as well as in the community, one of which in developing and creating a baseball mound. Chad was a huge Detroit Lions fan, cheering for them anytime they played. Above all, he treasured and cherished his two nephews and his niece, whom he spoiled as often as he could. Chad was a self-proclaimed pyrotechnics professional, providing a truly spectacular show of his patriotism on his favorite holiday: Independence Day. Simply put, Chad was a priceless and profound man who found his little piece of heaven through service unto others. The indelible mark he left in this world can be found through his generous acts of kindness, his wonderful sense of humor, and for truly living an amazing life filled with many beautiful memories and love.

Surviving are his parents, Scott and Charee Clark of Saginaw; three sisters and one brother: Kayla (Rodney) McCulloch of Saginaw; Kaitlyn (Kirk) VanOchten of Freeland; Kaycee (Jacob) Rutkowski of Saginaw; Noah (Kateri) Clark of Hemlock; two nephews: Luke and Clark VanOchten of Freeland; a niece, Isla Clark of Hemlock; two grandmothers: Becky Clark of Saginaw; Janice Whalen of Saint Charles; two uncles: David (Denise) Clark of Saginaw; Doug Gruber of South Haven. Also surviving are countless cousins, extended family, and dear friends too numerous to mention but held closely to his heart.

He was preceded in death by two grandfathers: Aveary Clark and Thomas DeShone; two aunts, Cindy DeShone and Patty Gruber.

A funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Aldersgate Church Cardinal Square, 6030 Bay Road, Saginaw, MI 48604. Pastor Matthew Brown will officiate. Private burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time the service.
