Cecilia C. Bott

Beloved wife, mother, “Granny”, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Henry Ford Hospital, with her family at her side. Age 55 years.

The daughter of Henry Sr. and Juanita (Pantoja) Castillo, Cecilia was born on September 21, 1970, in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Merrill High School with the class of 1990. Cecilia married the love of her life, Marvin Bott Jr., on June 12, 2021. They shared many wonderful years together. He survives her. Cecilia enjoyed music, dining out, and discovering new restaurants. She loved long car rides and trips to the casino, finding joy in life's simple pleasures and adventures. Above all else, she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandson.

Surviving besides her husband, Marvin Bott Jr.; her daughters, Bethany Brodeur, Taylor Brodeur; grandson, De’onta “Junie”; mother-in-law, Susan Bott; sister, Juanita Hartung; brother, Henry Castillo Jr. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Besides her parents, Cecilia was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Marvin Bott Sr., brother-in-law, Dewight Hartung; and her niece, Jessica Castillo.

Honoring Cecilia’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date to be announced. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603.
