Cathy S. Federspiel

Beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at her home; at the age of 69 years.

The daughter of the late Kleber and Viola (Boulet) Stockford, Cathy was born on January 22, 1952 in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Birch Run High School with the class of 1970. Cathy married Mike Federspiel on Saturday, July 10, 1971 in Burt, Michigan; he survives her. She enjoyed painting, playing cards, going up North and going to garage sales. Cathy was an avid Tiger's fan. Above all, Cathy cherished the time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving besides her husband of 50 years, Mike; are three sons and their spouses: Chad Federspiel, Bernie and Debbie Federspiel, Eric and Beth Federspiel; nine grandchildren: Brendan, Carson, Gauge, Drew, Tyler, Cole, Jerry, Abby, Charlie; two sisters and two brothers: Carole (John) Konesko, Calvin (Jeanette) Stockford, Tina Zwerk, Greg Stockford. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw. Rev. Ted McCulloch will officiate with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the funeral chapel, and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
