Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Passed away Friday, December 21, 2018 after a long illness. Age 81. Born March 6, 1937 in Saginaw, married to Peter Pendell on Sepember 10, 1960 (who pre-deceased her), and survived by their son, Timothy and his wife Frances of Elkridge, MD, and grandchildren residing in Aurora, CO: Bridget, James, and Timothy, Jr. who is the father to Carolines 2 great-grandchildren, Greyson and Harrison Pendell, age 3. Caroline was employed by Michigan Bell/Ameritech until retirement, then she manned reception desks over 15 years for Covenant HealthCare hospitals. She was a member of Countryside Trinity Presbyterian Church. Throughout her rich and active life, Carolyn, as friends knew her, volunteered with the Saginaw Zoo and Junior Reading Club, served as President of the Telephone Pioneers, and actively supported her church as an Elder. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 at Countryside Trinity Church, 4690 Weiss, Rev. Dave Myers to officiate, with interment in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the W. L.
