Carol Lee Ray Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Covenant- Harrison. Age 73 years. The daughter of the late Carolyn Rose (Coffman) and William Arthur Quinn was born October 10, 1943 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Francis Edward Ray, January 25, 1982. He passed away December 23, 2001. Carol was a graduate of Delta College School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. She retired from the Saginaw County Health Department with many years of service. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School and Bible Study. She enjoyed going to the Saginaw Symphony, reading and watching movies. Surviving are five children and their spouses, Mark and Ruth Ray; Laurie and Mark Magnus; Shari and Rick Wasney; Jeff and Kathy Persons; Mike and Bonnie Persons; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters and their husbands, Judy McCoy; Peggy and Bob Blaine; Shannon and Al Meatte; many nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Monty Dhose and Erin Hare have predeceased her. In accordance with Carol's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. James Neumann will officiate. Friends may call at the chapel from Noon Friday until the time of the memorial service.
