It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Susanne Kettlewell, who peacefully departed this life on March 4, 2026, in Hemlock, Michigan. Born on October 28, 1951, in Sandusky, Michigan, Carol brought laughter and warmth to all who knew her.

Carol's life was a tapestry woven with joy, resilience, and a love for the simple pleasures. As a high school graduate, she embarked on a career in manufacturing at Saginaw Steering Gear, where her dedication and work ethic shone through.

Beyond her professional life, Carol was known for her quick wit and infectious laughter, often described as a true jokester who could brighten any room. She cherished her friendships, especially her bond with "the three amigos." Carol found solace and enjoyment in the great outdoors. She loved traveling, the warmth of bonfires, and the simple pleasure of enjoying a cold drink on warm summer nights.

Her appreciation extended to the quirky and whimsical, as she held a fondness for frogs and cats. She was also an avid sports enthusiast, with a particular passion for hockey and football. Carol leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

She is survived by her siblings, Shareen and Judy; Her nephews, Rich, Shane, Dan, and Gary; her great nieces Nora, Claire, and Josceyln; her best friends, Brenda (Clarence) and Diane; as well as many other friends and family.

Alongside her parents, Carol is predeceased by her bother, Gary.

Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

In keeping with Carol's wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no services planned. Though she is no longer with us in person, her spirit and the joy she brought to the world will forever remain in our hearts.
