Carol Buck

Beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at her home, with her family at her side; at the age of 76 years.

The daughter of the late John and Frances (Wrobleski) Bannerman, Carol was born on May 11, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Ripin College for her undergraduate studies in mathematics. Carol then continued her education at Tufts University, graduating Summa Cum Laude and received her Master’s Degree in Theater. She married Dale Buck on February 1, 1986; he survives her. Carol was a member of Piecemakers Quilt Guild. She was an avid reader. Carol was a whitewater rafter, and also a cat lover. Above all, Carol cherished the time spent with her family.

Surviving besides her husband of 36 years, Dale; are her son: Jonathan Bridgman; two grandsons: Kaleb and Khalil Bridgman; sister: Jeanne’ (Tom) Kilgore. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Carol was preceded in death by a sister, Vickie Bannerman.
