Passed away April 8, 2020 at Covenant Health Care. Age 67 years.
The daughter of the late Martin J. Wenzel and Donna Mae (Newcomb) Velthuysen was born December 6, 1952 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was employed as a Radiographer with St. Luke’s Hospital, Urgent Care of Midland and with area physicians. She was a member of Christ Ev. Lutheran Church, Shields. She and her sister loved to travel, especially to historical sites in the USA and Canada. She was a member of the Airstream Travel Group. She enjoyed woodworking, knitting, spun wool and was a member of the Spinning Guild. She loved sheep and dogs, especially beagles.
Surviving are her sister, Pamela Wenzel; her aunts and uncle, Betty Kneuss, Dora Moore, Audrey Fobear and Archie Newcomb; A step-brother and step-sister; many cousin, step-nieces and step-nephews. Her step-father, Henry Velthuysen and a step-brother, Ron Velthuysen, have predeceased her.
Due to COVID-19 world health crisis, private funeral services will be held. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider their favorite charity.
