Beverly I. Brown (Jones, Krueger) of Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020, at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital. She was 83 years old. Beverly was born on October 10, 1936, to the late Lawrence C. and Marie (Marker) Jones. She married Paul A. Brown on May 7, 1993; he preceded her in death on December 19, 2013. She was employed at Ray’s Food Fair until her retirement in 1991. Beverly enjoyed jigsaw and crossword puzzles, sewing and making quilts, spending time with her friends and her four legged companions: Chewee, Keeko, and Buffy (deceased).

Surviving are her son, Michael Krueger and his girlfriend, Jami Beckman of Cheboygan; granddaughter, Krystal Krueger and her boyfriend, Arthur Langolf III of Cheboygan; grandson, Mike (Katie) Woods of Saginaw; six great-grandchildren: Krystopher Krueger, Lilly Sigsby, Michael, Tyler, Ella, and Alex Woods; two sisters: Barbara Petre and Bonnie Gower; three brothers: Barry, Brian, and Charles (Janice) Jones. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and two special friends, Janet S. (deceased) and Iris Whittier.

She was preceded in death by a special grandson, Michael Krueger; infant sister, Brenda; two brothers: William and Robert; sister-in-law, Elaine and their son, Bob.

A funeral service will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2020, at the W. L. Case & Company, 201 N. Miller Road. Roger Gomez will officiate. Honoring Beverly’s wishes cremation will follow the service. Family and friends are welcome to visit at the funeral chapel on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 4:00 p.m. Due to restrictions set forth by the State of Michigan and the worldwide health pandemic, all visitors are required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the family c/o Michael Krueger or a charity of the donor’s choice.
