Betty Lou Krohn of Hemlock, Michigan
Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister passed away in her sleep on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. She was 80 years old. Betty Lou Spencer was born on March 11, 1940, in Zilwaukee, Michigan, to the late Lawrence and Anna (Zadonia) Spencer. As a young woman, she was a gifted and talented seamstress able to design and create a pattern by looking at someone. Whatever you wanted, a dress, shirt, or pants Betty could design it all. She was also able to work with difficult fabrics like chiffon. She also enjoyed crafts, playing Bingo, and going out to eat. Above all, Betty loved her family, as well as spending weekends at her son Bob’s home.
Surviving are three children: Cassandra Richter of Saginaw; Robert (Laura) Krohn of Midland; Michael (Roxanne) Krohn of Lewiston; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters: Johanne Reeder of Saginaw; Ann Marie (Frank) Kendrick of Ann Arbor.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren and four brothers.
Honoring Betty’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Betty’s life will take place at a later date.
