Bernice Gudaitis (Zabel)

Bernice was born on June 3, 1946, in Hemlock, Michigan, to the late Alvin and Ruth Zabel. She passed away on September 13, 2024 in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 78.

Bernice is survived by her daughter, Chris (Greg) McMahon; son, Matt Gudaitis; granddaughter, Gracen McMahon; and siblings, Daniel (Violet) Zabel, Carl (Sharon) Zabel, Marcella (John) Bremer, Patricia Godwin, and Elaine Edwards. Bernice leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Gudaitis; her parents; brother-in-law, Gerald Godwin; and brother-in-law, Jim Edwards.

Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N. Miller Road, Saginaw, Michigan, 48609. Rev. William H. Hessler will officiate. Friends are welcome to visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Private entombment to follow at Oakwood Mausoleum.
