Grand Haven, Michigan
Formerly of Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Sunday, May 29 2022; at the age of 60 years.

The daughter of the late Theodore and Geneva (Marcy) Clemens, Barbie was born on September 2, 1961 in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School with the class of 1979. Barbie then continued her education at Reynolds and Reynolds. She married Kim Jay Bielby on November 11, 1998 in Kauai, Hawaii; he preceded her in death on March 3, 2022. Barbie was a comptroller of several large car dealerships during her career, including McDonald Pontiac Cadillac GMC Dealer locally. She was loved by so many. People could see how kind hearted she was in a short time of meeting her. Barbie loved animals and spent much of her extra time volunteering at the Heaven Can Wait Animal Shelter in Muskegon. Barbie loved caring for and feeding all of the many animals that showed up in her backyard, including turkeys and a family of raccoons. She spent many hours with her favorite neighborhood dog, Scout.

Barbie and Kim returned to Hawaii several times and loved it there. They also loved being on the water in their boat while Barbie would blast Abba, Ronnie Milsap and Jimmy Buffet. They loved to laugh and have fun. They were always retelling funny stories and loved to hear them. Barbie was very athletic and loved water and snow skiing. She taught her nieces, and several great-nieces and nephews how to ski.

Surviving are her sister and brother: Lenora Hoffman, Ted Clemens; three nieces: Lisa (Jeff) Marsh, Amy Hoffman (Howard Cooper), Kerri Hoffman; one nephew: Ted Clemens Jr.; great-nieces and nephews: Thomas Yura, Jacob Yura, Grace Cooper, Zach Cooper, Sarah Cooper. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Barbie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kim Jay Bielby; her brother-in-law: Roger Hoffman.
