Barbara Lach, Major Retired US Air Force of Panama City, Florida, formerly of Saginaw, Michigan

Passed away Monday, February 12, 2024, at the age of 77 years. Barbara was born on May 31, 1946, in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of the late Louis and Florence (Brandt) Lach. Barbara was a former member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, where she was baptized and confirmed, and a current member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Panama City, Florida. She enjoyed cooking, landscaping, painting, and her cats. Barbara was in the first graduating class of Carrollton High School, class of 1964. She then furthered her education at Hurley Hospital in Flint, receiving her nursing degree. Moving back to Saginaw where she worked for a brief period. Then joining the US Air Force, serving at several stateside bases and overseas bases, retiring from McDill Air Force Base in Florida as a Major. Following her retirement, she went into private practice as a Nurse Practitioner for many years, eventually retiring from nursing. 

Surviving is a son, Daniel Lach; one brother, Robert (Janice) Lach; one niece and one nephew, Amy (Brian) Eichstaedt and David (Kellie) Lach; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
