Barbara Isolda Virginia Dickerson

Barbara passed away at Covenant Medical Center on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the age of 71 years. She was born on January 31, 1949 to the late Leo and Christa (Rohr) Herbin in Heidelberg, Germany. She was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School.

Barbara married Arthur Dickerson on November 22, 1969 in Saginaw. She spent most of her working years taking care of her three daughters at home. Barbara enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting, and cake decorating. She was creative and loved to spend her time do all things crafty.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Arthur, three daughters: Corianna Hebert, Dianna Sayan, Wendy Dickerson, grandchildren: Justin McKay, Jacob (Diana) McKay, Shelby (Dustin) Kleinknecht, Robert Sayan III, Chyenne Sayan, Nathaniel Shepherd and ten great grandchildren. Also surviving Barbara is her special friend, Christina Weber

A private family service will take place for immediate family on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at W. L. Case and Company (5700 Dixie Highway, Saginaw). Pastor Robert Schmidt will officiate. Burial will follow at Pingrove Cemetery (Albee Township Cemetery). Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021 at the funeral home. Due to the world wide health pandemic, building capacity is limited, face coverings are required and social distancing will be encouraged. We appreciate everyone’s efforts to reduce the spread of covid-19 in our community. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials in care of the Dickerson Family. A memorial dinner will take place at Albee Township Hall at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
