Barbara Ann Proux Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister passed away on December 1, 2016, at the age of 75 years. Barbara was born January 8, 1941, in Saginaw to the late Kenneth and Leona (Kruth) Miller. She married David Proux on January 1, 1960; he predeceased her October 20, 2009. Barbara's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She always made time for them and was never in a rush. She created many beautiful pillows/blankets using cross stitch or crewel art. She enjoyed reading, doing crosswords, playing Scrabble, travelling, white water rafting, baking, and making her cut out Christmas cookies. She will be missed by her children, Julie Proux, David (Dot) Proux, Jeanette (Dale) Lemmer, Deborah (Bob) Kenny; grandchildren, Austin, Alex, Kathleen, David (Brooke) Zachary, Victoria (Greg), Taylor, Alexandra, Ryan; and a great-grandchild on the way; siblings, Jim (Betty) Miller, Duane (Carol) Miller, Marilyn (Rocky) Anscomb, Del (Phyllis) Miller, Gary (Marlene) Miller; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Keith Miller. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
