Barbara L. Allen

Loving wife and mother went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the age of 77.

Barb was born in Saginaw, Michigan on April 23, 1947, to the late Jack E. and Thlema (Glick) Moore. She was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School. She was married to David W. Allen on April 3, 1969. David preceded her in death on October 7, 2017. Barb and Dave did everything together and spent their winters in Florida. They loved to travel and spend time with their family, friends, and dogs. Barb loved to be social and enjoyed time with family and friends at Flannigan’s Irish Pub in Shields. She loved fast cars, especially her Corvette.

Barb is survived by children Jacalyn Allen Deyarmond and David D. Allen and Helen Mielke; and many special cousins who she thought of as her grand family, Sandy and Brian Graham and their children and grandchildren, Jacob, Brandi, & Lelia and Carter & Iva. She is also survived by her dear friend Donna Brouddus.

The funeral service to celebrate Barb’s life will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N Miller Rd, Saginaw, MI 48609. Rev. Michael Kelley will officiate the service with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday and on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
