Passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2019. He was 35 years old. Austin was born on July 26, 1983 in Alamogordo, New Mexico to Joseph Toth and Christine (Fehn) Forster. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion in 2002. He was injured during a tour in Afghanistan where he received a Purple Heart. Austin was currently attending Wayne State University for accounting. He loved to read, listen to music, draw and work out. He is survived by his mother; one sister, Ashley (Doug) Ratliff; two nieces, Peyton and McKenzie; one grandmother, Joyce; and two uncles, Chad Fehn and Roger (Barb) Fehn. He is preceded in death by his father and grandfather, William Fehn. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at W. L. Case and Company, 201 N. Miller Road, from 12-2 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider any donation toward funeral expenses or the National Center for PTSD.
