Arlene Louise Grueber Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at the Country Living Adult Care, Portland, Michigan. Age 83 years. The daughter of the late Albert and Christina (Fehn) Kube was born August 23, 1929 in Hemlock, Michigan. She married Roy G. Grueber, August 21, 1954. He passed away June 20, 2004. She attended Central Michigan University and was a graduate of Saginaw General School of Nursing. She was employed by Saginaw General and St. Lukes Hospital and taught at the Saginaw Practical Nursing School. She later was employed by Saginaw Community Hospital. She was a member of the Saginaw General Nurse's Alumni Assoc. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church where she volunteered in the School Library, its Ladies Aid and Braille group. She enjoyed gardening. Surviving are four children and their spouses, Debbie and Kevin Seal, Portland, MI; Cindy Grueber and John Mrjenovich, Portland, Oregon; Perry and Judy Grueber, Wausau, WI; Marty and Kim Grueber, Olmsted Falls, OH; nine grandchildren, Matthew Seal and his fianc, Jennifer; Lindsay Seal; Laura, Leslie and Leigh Grueber; Kacey, Andrew, Amanda and Daniel Grueber; her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Arno and Bonnie Grueber; Edna Meyerhuber; her God children, Kim Grueber, Sue Beythan, Donald Himmelspach, Daniel Reinert; her special friend, Ellen Sommerfield; her beloved dog, Shotzie. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 808 Weiss St. Saginaw. Rev. Michael R. Korte will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Friday and then on Saturday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
