Gomez, Antonio, Sr. Carrollton, Michigan Passed away May 7, 2013, age 64 years. Antonio was born in Saginaw, Michigan January 30, 1949 the son of the late Carmen and Josepha (Gonzalez) Gomez. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam earning two purple hearts and a bronze star. He retired from General Motors. Antonio is survived by four children, Antonio Gomez, Jr., Gilberto Gomez, Bennito Gomez, Diane Gomez; twelve grandchildren, Terese, Felicia, Gilberto, Jr., Cassondra, Jesus, Gabrielle, Corrina, Antonio, III, Sienna, Layla, Bennito and Javen; two great-grandchildren, Luciano and Isabella; his siblings, Apolinar, Sr. (Emma), Modesto, Adabeltro (Molly), Herman (Mary Soyla), Jose, Sr., Oscar, Sr. (Janie), Alfredo (Rose) , Carmen and Gloria Gomez Frappart (Joe). In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Heriberto; a sister, Eva and his sister-in-law, Mary. Cremation has taken place.
