Beloved husband, brother, uncle, son-in-law, brother-in-law and friend passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021, at his home, with his family at his side; at the age of 54 years.

The son of the late Paul H. Sr. and Evelyn E. (Adams) Goss, Tony was born on August 31, 1966 in Marion, Indiana. He graduated from Merrill High School with the class of 1985. Tony married his high school sweetheart: Julie M. Gillam on May 13, 1989, in Merrill; she survives him. He worked at SRF in Freeland until he retired in 2018. Tony loved many genres of music, he cherished audio equipment and enjoyed the family cabin in Paradise. Above all, Tony cherished the time with his family and his beloved chocolate lab: Elleigh.

Surviving besides his wife of 32 years: Julie; are his sister: Cynthia (David) Kingsbury; mother-in-law: Alice Gillam; sister-in-law: Becky Fradenburg (fiancé: Rob Harris); nieces and nephews: Nate (Lindsey) Kingsbury, Jason (Kassie) Goss, Nichole (Brett) Monville, Maya Fradenburg, Tyler Fradenburg. Also surviving are many great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members and friends. Besides his parents; Tony was preceded in death by his two brothers: Thomas Goss and Paul Goss Jr.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 25, 2021, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 125 E. Saginaw Street, Merrill, Michigan. Pastor Nate Kingsbury will officiate with burial to follow at Lakefield Township Cemetery. Friends may visit the family from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021 and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to a charity of your choice or in honor of Tony, take your loved ones to lunch.
