Mendoza, Anselmo, Jr. Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved husband, father, grandfather passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, with his family by his side, at the age of 68 years. He was born June 8, 1947, son of the late Anselmo and Ildefonsa (Valtierra) Mendoza, Sr., in Elsa, Texas. He married Yolanda Galvan on July 10, 1971, she survives him. He served in the U.S. Army, retired from Delphi with 33 years of service and was a member of U.A.W. Local #699. He was a mechanic in which he enjoyed working on cars. He also enjoyed Detroit Tigers Baseball, fishing and spending time with his family. Besides his wife Yolanda, he is survived by his daughter, Lydea (Jason) Coe; his grandchildren, Mia and Justin "J.J." Coe; his siblings, Connie (Ronnie) Costello, Lansing, MI, Juanita (Charles) Cormier, Oscar (Josie) Mendoza, Teresa (Anselmo) Ornelas, Jose Mendoza, David Mendoza, Sofia (Patrick) Cook and Ruben (Nancy) Mendoza; his uncle, Aldolfo (Alvina) Valtierra; also many other special relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his nephew, Ocielo "O.C" Ornelas, his niece, Catarina Ornelas, his mother and father-in-law, Hipolito and Leonore Ramona Galvan. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 915 N. Sixth Street. Fr. Frank Voris, O.F.M., Cap. will officiate with burial in Mt.
