Anna Stoumbos of Saginaw, Michigan

Loving Mother, Wife, and Yaya, Anna passed away Thursday, April 30th of natural causes. She was 78 years old. She was born January 12th, 1948 in Piraeus, Greece, to George and Eftihia Economides. Anna married George Stoumbos and resided in Saginaw for the remainder of her life.

Anna leaves behind her husband of more than 50 years, George Stoumbos Sr; Son, Loukas & Yolanda Stoumbos of Vermontville, MI; Daughter, Eftihia & Matt Spaulding of Howell, MI; Son, George Stoumbos Jr & Tabetha Brethour of Saginaw, MI; Grandchildren: Ariel & Darian Mills, Jacob Stoumbos; Aron Brown, Georgie Stoumbos, Aristotle, Achilles and Athena Spaulding; Cyruss, Kristo, Adrianna, and Anna Thalia Stoumbos; Great Grandchildren: Haines Grissom, Van and Raina Mills. Anna also leaves behind her siblings, who all reside in Athens Greece, Eleni & George Dimas; Vangelis Economides; Haralambos & Stavroula Economides; and Eleni & Theodoro Dousi. She also leaves behind Niece Leta & Douglas Povich of Saginaw, MI; and many other nieces and nephews, and special friends.

Anna was predeceased by her Parents, George & Eftihia Economides; Infant Brother, Dimitri Economides; In Laws, Loukas & Violeta Stoumbos; Brother-in-law, George Dimas; Brother-in-law, Harry Stoumbos; Sister-in-law, Voula Moucandimithes; Brother-in-law, Kosta Moucandimithes; Niece, Soula Nikolakopoulos; and Great Grandsons, Indy Lee & Pierce Jacob Mills.

A funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, MI 48603. Rev. Julie Bailey will officiate. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, MI 48603 on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. t0 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donating in her memory to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
