Was welcomed into the gates of Heaven on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Age 57 years.
She was born May 5, 1964, to the late Ismael and Maria Gutierrez. Anna was passionate about many things for many years. She loved her profession as a Hair Stylist, making many people look beautiful. Anna’s greatest love and enjoyment were her children and grandchildren, she was definitely the “Rock” of her family. We will miss her dearly.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Roger Barbour, children Andrew (Maria) Barbour Sr; Angelo Garza; Nikki Garza and Johnny Garza Sr; her grandchildren, Mercedes (Jacob Oliver) Mireles, Damion Garza, Angelina Garza, Michael Garza, Miley Garza, Andrew Barbour Jr, Vincent Garza, Gabriel Barbour, Johnny Garza Jr., Julius Garza, Marcello Castanon and Messiah Johnson-Martinez. Her sisters and brothers, David Gutierrez, Mary (Hector) Martinez, Julia Torralva, Jim (Carolyn) Gutierrez, Esperanza Herrera, Rosie Gutierrez, Chana (Juan) Rodriquez, Ismael (Christina) Gutierrez and a bonus sister, Sandra Gutierrez; her aunts, Sequana (Gerenimo) Flores; Delores Ramirez, Rosaria Valdez and Laurie (Raymond) Dzuba; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, a loving son, Arturo Garza III, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Mary Lois Barbour, a brother, Alfredo Gutierrez and brothers-in-law, Roger Torralva and Felix Herrera.
The funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel in Merrill. Rev. Manley Brokaw will officiate. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations for her final expenses.
