Anita Kall

Anita Kall of Saginaw, Michigan

Went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

The daughter of the late August and Angeline (DiPipi) Laurence, Anita was born on November 2, 1932, in Old Forge, PA. She grew up in Detroit, Michigan, where she married her husband of 65 years, Richard. He went to be with his Lord in 2014.

She was an active member of Messiah Lutheran Church - Bullock Creek. She was very involved in Keryx Prison Ministry, Michigan Youth Challenge, and Lutheran Via de Cristo of Central Michigan. Anita and Richard owned and operated Holy Cross Christian Supply in Green Acres Plaza (Saginaw) for 35 years, until their retirement in 2012. A strong and devoted Christian, she was a spirited optimist, who always saw the bright side of life.

Anita's children are a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Dennis Brefka; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Rebecca Kall; a son, Steven (deceased); daughter-in-law, Wendy Kall Barth; seven grandchildren: Philip (Kelly) Brefka, Kimberly Lockhart, Kristin (Jordan) Waier, Tony (Baylie) Kall, Laura Kall, Sean Kall, and Trevor Kall; eight great-grandchildren: Jordyn and Haley Brefka, Matthew, Morgan, and Riley Lockhart, Madisyn, Ashlyn, and Grayson Waier. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Rose (Clifford) Williams and Gloria (Carl) Chimenti.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1550 S. Poseyville Road in Bullock Creek. Rev. Dennis Kriel will officiate. Private burial will take place at Midland City Cemetery.

Anita's family will receive friends on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
