Angelina Hernandez, Age 80 of Lewisville TX, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30th, 2026, in Bridgeport, Michigan.

Angelina was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 23, 1945, to Eusebia (Benny) Vasquez.

She later relocated to Michigan where she was married & had children. She had a beautiful home in the BV area that was decorated in fresh petunias, where all the grandchildren hold their most precious memories. From easter egg hunts to birthday parties, her home was their home.

Angelina was a homemaker who enjoyed many things. She loved all music from classic Mexican music to Elvis! She was famous for her homemade flour tortillas. She had her favorite shows like The Wilderness family or Places of the Heart. Angelina also loved taking care of her garden and spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren. Outside of the home, she loved shopping and getting dressed up for special events and family gatherings, she was always sparkling!

She is survived by her siblings Fariba & (James) Gonzales and Gregory & (Rachelle) Vargas; children, Patricia Vargas ( Ray Vargas) , Peter Hernandez (Natividad Hernandez), Yolanda & (Jose Jimenez) and Hope Hernandez; grandchildren Chris Villanueva, Jose (Pa) Jimenez III, Angelina Richardson, Danielle Avina, Crystal Burns, Reggie Harris, Selena Vargas, Tony Harris and Rafael Vargas; and several great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Angelina was preceded in death by her siblings Olivia Farias & Louis Martinez.

A funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2026 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Julian Gonzales and Rev. Ava Gonzales will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service.
