Szuran, Andrew Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015, after a lengthy illness, at his home at the age of 69 years. Andrew was born in Heidenau, Germany November 14, 1945 the son of the late Michael and Walentyna (Martschenkowa) Szuran. He was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School and was employed by Delphi-GM, retiring in 2001 after 35 years of service. He married Cecelia Lasceski on August 3, 1968 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in Kinde, MI. She survives him. Andrew enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson Andrew William. He was an avid bowler, golfer and enjoyed casinos. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #497. Surviving besides his loving wife of 46 years, are on son, Andrew (Tracey) Szuran, Saginaw, MI; his grandson, Andrew William; his step-mother, Katrina Schroeder; his brothers, Walter Lewtschanyn, Saginaw, MI and Wesley Lewtschanyn, Seminole, FL; his brothers-in-law, Walter (Joann) Lasceski, Kinde, MI and Thomas (Diane) Lasceski, Port Austin, MI; his sister-in-law, Veronica Duda, Kinde, MI; also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Michael Christopher Szuran, his daughter, Andrea Marie Szuran and his brother-in-law, Frank Duda. Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Road. Rev. Peter Gaspeny will officiate will burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
