Anastasios (Taso) Piliafas was sent to his eternal resting place on December 24, 2025, surrounded in spirit by those who loved him. Taso was born July 19, 1948, in Saginaw, Michigan to parents, Christ Piliafas and Angeline (Buterakos) Piliafas.

He is survived by his daughter Zoe Penman Piliafas; two grandsons, Joseph Aiden Fayard and Avery Penman Blount; twin sister, Olga Anagnost; brother Gus Piliafas and many nieces and nephews.

Taso was a proud United States Army Veteran. He was a Regional Manager at Wendy’s for a number of years. He enjoyed having fun, fishing, playing cards and making people laugh. Taso will always be remembered for his fun-loving and giving nature.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents Christ and Angeline Piliafas and brother, George Piliafas.

A private burial honoring his wishes has taken place at Roselawn Cemetery, Saginaw, Michigan. His memory will live forever with all those who loved him. Memory Eternal.
