Amy Kathleen Barnes Saginaw, Michigan Passed away suddenly, Saturday, December 15, 2018, at her home. Age 58 years. The daughter of Rachel Jerome and the late Rudolph Barnes was born September 19, 1960 and was a graduate of Bridgeport High School, Class of 1978. She enjoyed playing with the Bridgeport High School Marching Band and singing with her best friends in their group, the Hansens Lighted Barn. Amy attended the University of Michigan, graduating with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration in 1982. She moved to California to pursue a career with State Farm Insurance Company. She then moved to Arizona where she lived for many years until returning to Michigan to reside with her mother in Saginaw. She loved music, singing and playing the Ukulele. Surviving besides her mother, Rachel, are her brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Kim Barnes; niece and her husband, Stephanie and Robert Robison; a niece, Chelsea Barnes; a great nephew, Andrew Rudy. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at First United Methodist Church, 4790 Gratiot. Saginaw, Michigan. Pastor Amy Terhune will officiate.
