Gay Jr., Alfred B. Hemlock, Michigan Loving husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014 at the age of 75 years. The son of the late Alfred B. and Gladys (Howard) Gay Sr. was born on February 20, 1939 in Ferndale, MI. He married Ann Marie Benjamin on February 25, 1961; she survives him. Alfred served in the Michigan National Guard for seven years. He retired from Saginaw Machine Systems after 43 years of service, where he worked in several engineering capacities. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Alfred enjoyed cars, traveling, camping, boating, golfing and most especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving besides his wife, Ann Marie are their children and their spouses: son-in-law Aaron Alexander, daughter Susan (Philip) Morrow, son, Paul Gay, daughter, Kimberly (Robert) McLellan, grandchildren: Nicole (Cliff), Courtney, Brianne, Sage, Christopher, Ashley (Colin), Alyssa (Reed), Brittany, Paul Jr., Jake, Zachary, Hunter, great-grandson, Parker, his sister and brother: Sandra French, Howard Paul (Sandi) Gay and brother-in-law, James Komerska and many nieces and nephews. Alfred was predeceased by his parents, his daughter, Linda Alexander, a special Aunt, Margaret Zarich, his sister, Marilyn Komerska, brother-in-law Michael French and his faithful dog, Molly. Funeral service will take place at 12:00 Noon Monday, November 3, 2014 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
