Gibelyou, Alexandra Amber “Alex,” “Alley Cat”
Presented to the World: August 23, 2022
Entered her Heavenly Kingdom: April 16, 2026
Our perfect, beautiful angel, Alexandra, at the tender age of 3, was reunited with Jesus on April 16, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids. Alexandra was born on August 23, 2022, to her proud parents, Trinity Scoles and Allen Gibelyou II.
Alexandra will always be remembered for her love of music. She loved sitting and playing with her daddy or simply watching and admiring him. She was a little girl in denim with a spunky soul—smart, sassy, and full of life—with the most beautiful eyes that could light up any room she entered. Even at her young age, she could help cook breakfast, telling you what was missing from the pancakes and when it was time to flip them.
She loved Bluey, her favorite snack was Cheetos Puffs, and she especially enjoyed chasing her Papa around playing “Piggies Go Pop.” Alley Cat was such a loving and giving child, and she continued to give through the “Gift of Life” program.
One of her favorite sayings was: “Let me think about it… Nooooo.”
Left to cherish her memory are her parents: Trinity Scoles (Dalton Ciolek) and Allen Gibelyou II; brother, Maximus “Max” Leaming; grandparents: Kevin Scoles “Grandpa”, Amber Leaming “Nana” (James Manning), Amber and Doyle Israel “Nana & Papa”, and Allen “Papa Al” Gibelyou Sr. “Lillie Jurkiewicz”. Allie Cat was also survived by Great Grandpa Kevin Gibelyou; aunts and uncles: Isaac Gibelyou (Kylie Johnson), Emma Scoles, Trenton and Drake Miller, Joslyn Pardue-Renaud, Haylee Pardue, and a special Godfather Ricky “Icky” Merrow; along with a host of cousins as well as numerous Great Aunts and Uncles.
She was Predeceased by Great Grandma, Nancy Fletcher, Grandma, Cynthia Scoles; Great Grandmothers: Sandy Scoles and Sharon Syrowik; Great Papa, Mark Reeves.
