Albert “Al” D. Snow of Hemlock, Michigan
Beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, July 6, 2025, following a lengthy illness. He was born on December 4, 1958, in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late Bert W. and Irene M. (Brethauer) Snow. Al lived most of his childhood in Hemlock, Michigan. Music was a major part of his life. His father taught him to play the tenor banjo, and they dueled often. Al and two friends started a band, Harmony JAC’s, in high school. He took photographs for the school yearbook and was called on to help staff with audio visual equipment. Al graduated from St. Charles High School in 1977. His love of music led him to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he met the love of his life, Susan E. Driver. They married on September 14, 1981; she survives him. After living in Texas for a while, he moved back to his hometown and created Snow Productions. This company grew as he videotaped meetings for companies like Dow, and commercials for local businesses. His company today produces the videos for the Saginaw Spirit hockey team, running the scoreboard, and streaming the games live. In addition to music, Al enjoyed bowling. He bowled three perfect 300 games during his career; three 11 strikes in a row; 744 highest series, 219 highest average, and from 2000 to 2019 he carried a 200 average.
Left to survive him are his wife of 43 years, Susan “Sue” E. Snow of Hemlock; and two sisters: Susan C. Browing of Saginaw; Sally (Steven) Young of Montrose. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and treasured friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Bert and Irene Snow; father and mother-in-law, Clint and Rita Driver; and a brother-in-law, Steven Browning.
