Adelbert R. Davis Saginaw, MI Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away August 10, 2016, at the age of 90. Adelbert was born June 29, 1926, to the late Thomas and Beatrice (DeLong) Davis. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked for Saginaw Products for over 40 years. Adelbert enjoyed woodworking and created many objects for his grandchildren. He was also known as a "Mr. Fix-it" and was always fixing whatever various thing anyone brought him. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Maxine (Buckey) Davis; children, James (Susanne) Davis and Carol (Bob) Tift; grandchildren, Sandra (Nate), Will, and Matthew (Tessie); and great-grandchildren, Colin and Hayden. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Carrie Ann Tift; and his brother and 2 sisters. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2016, at W.L. Case & Company 201 N. Miller Rd with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday at the funeral home from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association.
