Wilma Joyce Wolgast

Wilma Joyce Wolgast Hemlock, Michigan Passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017, at Schnepp Senior Care and Rehab Centre. Age 86 years. The daughter of the late Bertha (Hockemeyer) and Fred Seeburger was born April 16, 1931 in Midland, Michigan. She married Vince Wolgast, September 26, 1953. He passed away December 14, 2011. Mr. and Mrs. Wolgast farmed for many years. Wilma was an active member of Zion Lutheran church, working there for many years and as a member of its Ladies Society and Quilting club. She enjoyed gardening, baking and was an accomplished seamstress. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Julie and John Hagarty; six grandchildren and their spouses, Joseph and Nina Wolgast; Kate and Bruce Damon; Andrew Wolgast; Bethany Hagarty; Emily and Scott McFadden; Christopher Hagarty; seven great grandchildren, Evan, Josie, Caden, Logan, Calan, Addison, Carver; two brothers, Gary and Judy Seeburger; Lloyd Seeburger; a sister Linda and Duane Durfee; a sister-in-law, Karen Seeburger and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Martin and Elaine Preuss; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Dennis Wolgast, a brother, Donald Seeburger and an infant sister, Arlene Seeburger. The funeral service will take place at Noon Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Zion Lutheran Church 17927 Dice Rd. Hemlock with burial in Richland Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of the funeral service.
