William R. McGregor

McGregor, William R. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014, at Select Specialty Hospital, Saginaw. Age 84 years. He was born January 15, 1930, in Dawson Springs, Kentucky, the son of the late James William and Virginia Margaret (Clayton) McGregor. He served with the US Army Air Corps and later US Air Force Reserves. He had been employed as head merchandising manager and marketing director at Morley Brothers for many years. He was a member of Bridgeport Community Church. He enjoyed raising birds. Surviving are two brothers, Al "A. D." and Shirley McGregor, and Earl Wayne and Kay McGregor, all of Saginaw; one sister, Mary Ann Sutton Badour, Saginaw; a sister-in-law, Lorraine McGregor, Bay City; many loved nieces, nephews, and their families. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, James Clayton McGregor. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 6, 2014, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where his family will receive friends from 4:00 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, and then on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Ron Sinclair will officiate with burial in Spaulding Township Cemetery.
