William John Frollo

William John Frollo Hemlock, Michigan Passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Covenant- Cooper. Age 90 years. The son of the late Thomas Michael and Catherine (Hrenko) Frollo was born December 18, 1922 in Hemlock. He married Rose Julia Vedrode, February 15, 1947. She survives him. He served with the U. S. Army as a Radar Repairman during WWII. He was a life-member of the American Legion. "Bill" engaged in farming and was an Electrician with General Motors, Malleable Iron foundry retiring in 1974 with over 25 years. He was a life long member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Hemlock, and Guardian Angel Mission church. "John" was a member of the National Farmer's Organization; served on the Fremont Twp. Board of Review and was active with the Scotch Picnic Society. He enjoyed gardening, listening to Detroit Tiger Baseball, playing Keno at "The Stump" and riding his John Deere Gator. Surviving besides his wife, Rose, are six children and their spouses, William Frollo Jr. and his wife, Alice; David and Sally Frollo, all of Hemlock; Janine Gehrig, Frankenmuth; Christine Rohn, St. Marys, Ohio; James and Deidre Frollo, Hemlock ; John and Donna Frollo, St. Charles, MI; a son-in-law, Thomas Cavanaugh, Kalamazoo; his grandchildren and their spouses, Darla Horgan and her husband, Al Mouzon; Jill Cavanaugh; Tony and Kathy Frollo; Jason and Charlene Frollo; David Frollo, serving with the U.S. A.F in Afghanistan and his wife, Michelle; Angelique Frollo; Amy and Jeremiah Allen; Thomas Gehrig and Raven; Joshua Rohn; Alyssa Frollo, Jordan Frollo, Laura Frollo; Nicholas Frollo, Zachary Frollo, Gabriella Frollo; his great grandchildren, Jake, Audrey, Elaina, Ben, Henry, Avery, Ethan, Daniel, Logan, Jacob, Dylan, Arianna and Lilly; his sisters and brothers, Ann Zimmer, Helen Frollo, Thomas and Donna Frollo, Martin and Cathy Frollo, Josephine Meyers; many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. A daughter, Rose Ann Cavanaugh, grandsons, Jeremy and Jacob Rohn, brothers and sisters, Stephen Frollo, Elsie Orin, Emma Bartz, Mary Frollo, Joseph Frollo and Viola Oliver have predeceased him. In accordance with Mr. Frollo's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 151 St. Mary Dr. Hemlock. Rev. Steve Gavit will officiate. Friends may call at the Church from 9 a.m. Saturday until the time of the memorial liturgy. Mr. Frollo's family wish to thank Drs.
