William Albert Geitman Hemlock, Michigan Passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at the Cartwright Care Residence. Age 77 years. The son of the late Myrtle (Hamilton) and William Geitman was born December 14, 1936, in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Joyce Ann Slama, October 29, 1960. She survives him. William served with the U. S. Army and was employed his entire career with Mercury Pattern Works of Saginaw. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Hemlock. He enjoyed his cabin up north on Long Lake, but most of all, he enjoyed his grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife, Joyce, are two sons and their wives, Jeffrey William and Sandi Geitman, Merrill, MI; Gregory Duane and Sherrie Geitman, Hemlock, MI; five grandchildren, Jason, Carter, Megan, Brandon and Tyler Geitman; a great granddaughter, Summer; his special cousins, Kathleen and John Andros; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Catherine Sauer and Rhea Ott. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2014, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Saginaw. Rev. Dr. William L. Morris will officiate with entombment in Roselawn Memorial Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Chapel on Miller Rd from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday and from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of the funeral service.
